Anyone know anything about printers?

I have a Canon printer which the color in it works but not the black. It sat for a while without me useing it so I thought it might be dried up so I changes the cart for each. Still no luck on the black working. I checked to make sure nothing was clogged up which nothing was.

Any ideas?
 
Canon inkjets usually have print heads seperate from the cartrages of ink you buy for it. unlike HP where the print head is integrated into the cartridge and is therefor changed every time you put in a new one. You can buy new print heads and replace them on canon printers.
