Anyone know anything about Mitsubishi Lancers?

Hmmm, the last Mitsubishi Lancer I heard about was in Asia. I'm not sure if they name it the same here in the US. Perhaps the equivalent of the Lancer here in the US, is the Diamante? (Just a guess, I haven't confirmed that.)

Lancer is the Mirage here. Lancer w/ all the goodies are not avaliable in the US. According to one of the rags a few months ago (MT maybe?), there are several Lancer EVO's registered here in the states as Mirages.

Performance - IT ROCKS.

Price - one of those things.. if you gotta ask..

Lancers are sweeeet cars.
280hp. turbo charged 4-banger.
Evo VI is about $40,000 after import charges and taxes.
I seriously considered getting one but I couldn't find one that had a drivers side on the left.
