Anyone know anything about MIRC and/or Routers?

Ok I got a Linksys BEFSR41 4 port router and have 3 PC's all together shareing a cable connection. All download and surf the net just fine but none will upload. I have all 3 with a static IP and under IP forwarding in the router config I have all 3 PC's static IP's in there and under port range I have 1080 in both boxes for all 3. Which doesnt seem to work.

I am mainly wanting to get MIRC working because my bro likes sending pics and stuff over MIRC. Also MIRC is wanting to use the main IP(that my ISP gave me) for each PC instead of the ones the router asigns. Is there a way to fix this also?

Sorry, I have no experience with routers. However, if you get no replies here I would recommend you try the networking forum (if you haven't already). I'm almost positive someone there can help you.

Good luck!

Edit: Check this thread

And also check out the link given in that thread. Hope that helps.

of course irc servers want your main ip.. nothing outside can see the ip that your router assigns..the reason why you can't get on irc is because the router can't pass thru identd so the irc server and most dont allow you to get on without that... i dont know of a way around that...

You have to use your outside IP. Nothing behind the firewall is used in identifying you on the internet.
Open port 113 in your router for incoming traffic for identd.
