Anyone know anything about heavy metal testing?

I'm wondering what the pros and cons are of hair testing versus serum testing for mercury, lead, chromium, etc.

Hair testing gives you a longer record. If you had the chemicals in your body, some of them would have leeched out into the hair and can still be detected if they are no longer in the bloodstream.
