My wife is in japan. The mifi device has signal but when she connects to it with her Macbook Pro it disconnects as soon as she goes to email or a website.
It's an Emobile E25HW through DoCoMo. It worked last year (different actual device, but same part).
I did have her do a PRAM reset. It connects to the Laptop fine, but as soon as she tries to connect anywhere else disconnect.
It has three buttons on it, power, Auto/WPS and connect/disconnect. She has tried all combinations (at least she is telling me that she is)...I am sure if I was there I'd get it working.
