Anyone know anything about electric?

Know someone who lives in a trailer who turned the air conditioner off and it just shut the electric off from the bathroom back(bathroom being in the middle of the trailer more less). The kitchen,livingroom and hallway gets electric. His brother says its most likely a bad power outlet or could be a light switch. Any other solutions as to what it could be. This was a huge air conditioner. We checked the breaker box and all was getting juice.

Any ideas?

Recheck the breaker box. It's possible you tripped one half of the mains.

The power comes in as 240 on two lines. From what you are saying I would guess that you are only getting one of the lines in. I had a problem once where one of the line connections outside would get hot and the voltage on that side would drop.

Reset all of your breakers in your box including the main one at the top. If you can get hold of a volt meter check a 240 outlet and make sure you have 240 across the two hot legs or 120 on both of the legs to neutral. If the 240 is not getting to your main breaker box call the electric company. If it is and you have a problem in the breaker box that you can't fix, call an electrician.

Don't trust his brother if resetting the breakers doesn't work, get an electrician.

With that reply it sounds like you are almost ready to move up to the trailer park. I assume you want him to move out to make space for you.
