Anyone know any Scheme or LISP??

Anyone out there know any Scheme (or LISP for that matter)? I have a few questions regarding setting up equivalency testing..

For example, how would I get scheme to recognize '<> and '() and being equal? Or how about something like '<&> and '((2) (3 4)))?

Anyone have any ideas?
