Anyone know Adobe After Effects? (solved thanks to Ness)

I'm trying to make a decent title

Ok, I have two layers of text, after they do they're appearing and moving, I want everything to distort on the screen with a ripple. The way I know to do it is by selecting each layer of text and adding the ripple effect, I want to know if there is a way to ripple everything on the screen with some sort of additional layer...

Create a new composition, then do the things with the text.

Create ANOTHER composition, put the first composition inside of it, and make the original composition as a whole have a ripple effect.

I don't know if you can do a ripple on a composition, but if there is any easy way to do it, that's how.
