Anyone Know About Unlocking Cellphones? v60 on At&T

my plan recently ended and want to be able to use the phone on maybe another plan but heard u have to unlock it.

i called att and they said it cant be "unlocked" and only can be used w/att wireless. it is a v60t phone.

are they just bs'ing me, is there another way around it or can this model really only be used on att lines and none other?

check out howard forums for info on unlocking your phone. You may even get someone to do it for you for a small fee.

I thought only GSM phones can be unlocked, isn't the ATT v60 phone a TDMA phone?

yes it is tdma, i didnt know it cant be unlocked...
