Anyone know about this alleged Win2K patch for fast motherboards powering down to quick?

A guy named MassMhz posted (in this forum) that Microsoft had a patch available that solved the following problem:

Win2K shuts down before cached data is committed to the hard drive. Registry becomes corrupted. Heroic measures required to restore system.

However, neither I nor anyone I have asked seems able to find this patch, and its causing serious problems for me.

Any help?

but it appears to me for 98/ME only. I have to wonder if anyone has tried it on a Win2K system?
