Those should work, but you might need to do a bios flash to get the motherboard to properly recognize the CPU.
Both of those parts are very good, and will run fast as long as you pair them with other quality components.

Why dont you do a search for them or look at the 999999999+ posts on the exact topic OR "Yes, there is more :D" look at one of the buyers guides instead of bothering us.

As for your question the M/B is a very highly rated M/B and is currently "the best" as it got editors choice in almost every review.

THe CPU on the other hand, Is it a WInchester COre, a Newcastle core, or a Clawhammer core? YOu will want the WInchester core.

Those 2 make for a real good set up. If you go to monarch
they can give you a good deal on combos, especially if you want some free games

asusA8v deluxe is another good board to look at... monarch has told me that this board has had fewer problems than the MSI
the MSI will be your better o/c in most cases (all boards aren't the same)
by the way... your not bothering me or a lot of other people...most people who fell they don't want to be bothered just don't read the thread or take the time to give a negative response...

good luck, and don't be afraid to ask questions... thats how you learn...using the search engine can help you a lot and looking at the reviews on ANAND

The board doens't have fewer problems, it is virtually everyonie has a K8N Neo2, as compared to only a fair few you have the A8V. SO naturally you are going to have more reports and stuff.
