Anyone know about the Princeton VL193??

Does anyone know of any reviews about it? Does anybody have one? It's being sold at Costco and it looks cool. I know it has a 600:1 contrast ratio and a 25ms seek time, it's pretty good for gaming I guess. I can't find any reviews or anything more than what's posted at

Princeton Graphics

Would anyone recommend it?

I have had bad experiences with princeton monitors a while back, but not recently. I would steer clear myself. Their tech support ( which I became very familiar with) is/was terrible. Looong wait times. Forever RMA's. I went through 2 17" monitors before I demanded a refund (which took forever).

Just my experience, others might say they are terrific. The world is a crazy place... 🙂

I tried one and thought it was a great monitor. The color and contrast were outstanding, but it had one dead pixel. I took it back to Costco, but they were sold out of the VL193; so I just got a refund. PROS: Great picture, comes with both vga and dvi cables, dedicated button to switch between analog/digital input, Costco 6 month return policy. CONS: only 1 year warranty.
