roomba. my brother gave a roomba discovery to my parents as a housewarming gift (we recently built a house).

cool little thing. automatically returns to its base, as long as its in the same room.

I have a Scheduler. Its a great device. Mine returns to its base to charge after cleaning the Livingroom, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. No problems.
