I discovered Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250
The lowest price I saw was $129 direct whatever direct means (I suppose from the manufacturer)

I want to be able to record on one channel and watch on the other on my computer screen has anyone purchased it?
Can you share your experience?

Duno about that, but the PVR150 has problems with Vista x64. Stuttering and such, its a known issue. Not sure if its specific with that card or the entire line of products.

Microsoft says its Hauppauge problem, they say its microsoft. /shrug

Pisses me off though, since I have one.

There is a huge thread about it over @ greebutton

You can't use more than 3GB of RAM with a PVR-150/500 on Vista x64. It's a Hauppauge issue, but why in the world should they be expected to fix it? It's a legacy product, their business is to get people to buy new cards.

I know this because I have two PVR-500s in my HTPC, FYI.
