No, definately not. My parents lived in Switzerland for about a year and I had the priviledge of visiting for a little over a month. If there is one thing I know about Switzerland it is that virtually none of our electrical equipment can be used over there and it is very difficult to find the right kind of converters for hairdryers let alone routers/hubs.

I think the thing between power connector and notebook is a transformer, no? You can virtually plug everything in there IIRC. Where will they be located? I maybe could set the router up for them if it's not too far away 🙂

If she is going over there for work she should have someone at her place of employement help her get setup properly. Regardless, I would make certain all her data is backed up here in the US in case her hard drives get fried. Wish I could be more help but it has been nearly 6 years since I have been over there and to be honest I didn't pay much attention to the specifics regarding their electricity.

WTH!? ndee, you are the next syringer! You have the opportunity to go and install a router...then "install" something else, and you are going to pass it up because it is a little drive? 😕
