Anyone know about riding lawnmowers?

I am looking at a couple used riding lawnmowers right now. Both are 42" decks. One is 15.5 HP, the other a 17 HP.

Anyone got comments on the brands Yardman or Murray?

The engine is what you're mainly concerned about, since it is the mowers life blood.

Honda, Kohler, Briggs Intek or Vanguard.. all good stuff.

How much are you looking to spend?

Both are a year old and around $600. If I'm not mistaken, both are B&S engines inside. I know the Murray is for sure.
