In my search for a car, I came across this. Looked interesting, but definitely a potential scam... anyone have or know of anyone who has experience with this sort of thing?

I have not seen any of these...haven't heard of anyone who has one either.

I know they exist and companies do pay for this type of advertising...but I don't know anything about that website in particular.

Oh it's legit alright... but the qualifications are ridiculous and you don't get one just for applying. This website, in specific, is probably NOT LEGIT. Read the FAQs. They are only selling information on how to do it. Just like all those annoying ebay auctions you see.

A company in your area must want to do this. They don't just have a fleet of cars waiting for people to drive them. The odds of some company deciding to put one of these cars out is rare... more rare that they want one in your area, even MORE rare that you, of all people, fit their needs.

You must fit the demographic of product's buyers. (You won't have a girl driving a car for power tools, just like you won't have a guy driving a car for flowers.)

You must drive an excessive amount. Driving 5 miles down the road and back everyday doesn't do a damn thing for a moving advertisement. They want people who drive close to 100 miles a day, in areas where their demographic is likely to be. (A college student who lives 50 miles away from school but commutes would be great for a company focused towards college students.)

You must have a PERFECT driving record. Not one ticket, not even an on-record warning. Which is funny, because there is an ad at the bottom of this site on how to beat a speeding ticket. haha.
