I'm trying to figure out why I keep getting popups from Symantec about adbrite cookies and how to remove the malware. I have Vista 32 Enterprise and typically use IE on this system. I'm guessing I picked up whatever from google-linked programming sites. They tend to have the most popups of sites I visit.
Anyone know the best way to search and clean the system?
I searched the filesystem and registry keys and processes via taskman for adbrite and didn't see anything.
