Anyone know about a FirstAct Guitar Stand

I don't yet have a guitar... yet I have all this other stuff. I bought an amp, a DS-2 distortion pedal, and now I was at Walmart and seen they had guitar stands for just $10. I'm wondering if the FirstAct guitar stand is comparable to the cheaper stands like the $10-15 ones from Musicians Friend. Surely something that simple is gonna adequate no matter what the price (good steel construction with adequate padding for where the body and neck lay). Then again, I've had some first hand experience with FirstAct guitars and amps.. and well it wasn't so good.

So anyway I've been using my bro's guitar and I'll let him use the stand till I get my own guitar, but has anyone else made the plunge on this first act beauty?

I don't see how you could go wrong for $10. As long as the stand isn't made out of butter, it should be okay.

They cost $10 at Gutar Center for the cheap ones

I have some, they work fine. It's a metal tripod- not much you can screw up there.

I keep mine in hard cases, otherwise I have to wipe off dust constantly.
