Anyone know a workaround for Websense?

Here at work I'm stuck behind big brother who's blocking just about everything interesting. I've proxied out for a while but got caught so now I'm looking for a new way. Any help is much appreciated.

use BabelFish and translate the URL from Japanese to English.

You won't be able to see pictures, but you will be able to read the text no problem.

Yeah. There is a way, and some other guys on the hell desk are using it, but I'm in no hurry to lose my job. Especially since I'm still a contractor.

If it's so important, why don't you already have access to it at work? And if it's not all that important, why can't it wait until after work or on your own time?

You ought to have your account locked out and your rights revoked for that kind of crap. That proxy is there for a reason and that reason is NOT for you to circumvent it. If you've been caught then feel lucky you still have a job. If it's something you NEED to do your job then request access to that site. Otherwise, stop breaking policies, or be prepared to be burned at the stake.

I don't view him as an SA's nightmare, hell, guys like him make my day when I get them fired for this BS.

Hey man. It's blocked for a reason. Do the right thing and live with it. If you need access to it for legitimate reasons, justify it in writing and submit it for approval.
