Back in Counter-Strike pre-source days, I frequently went to this huge LAN party which had upwards of 60-80 people at a time which lasted 3 days.

One time, a girl came to the LAN party and she wasn't particularly attractive, maybe a 4/10 but ZOMG, she got like 20 marriage proposals and tons of date offers and stuff over the course of those 3 days.

I dunno where are you going to these Lan Parties during pre-Countrike Source days... The Lan Parties/PC Cafe I used to go to in So. Calif always have a good amount of hot/cute asian chicks... and usually the room is full of thugs trying to go for them, too = pretty intimidating places for a nerd to play CS IMHO... they might get shot for real if the nerd pwned one of them...

There is actually an article on that - studies show that always keeping the mind active may prevent or slow the onset of Alzheimer by not letting the mind slow down = always challenge the brain..

I say this because my wife is super hot and petite and she dressed up for halloween for the first time as Dorothy (slutty of course) and I wasn't so sure our family oriented neighborhood would appreciate that.

But anyways, we trolled around with our 2 kids and a bunch of family friends with their kids and I've never seen so much hate. Comments such as "Why don't the teens start their halloween when all the kids are asleep?" or "Which parent would let their kid go out dressed like that?!?"

One comment that got me to LAWL was "Girls should NOT be dressed like a grown woman, wow" And I started LOL, then I responded "That's my wife and those 2 over there are our kids, LOLOLOL"

The women parents are probably jelly because they want to look like her with kids... the men parents are probably jelly because they wished their wives would look like her or wish they were with a girl like her...^_^

If you are referring to my pics, and specifically the halloween pirate one, she tried to do one of those fake "cuts" on her arm. It didn't turn out right so she tried to take it off, that was the glue left over 🙂
 
My wife doesn't even know what a video game looks like. Actually, no one in my family does. Even my brother hates video games.

That's ok though...gaming is my "quiet time". I like it that way.
 
"The Wife" will sometimes sit and watch me play video games. but invariably she wants to tell me every little thing to do. She won't actually "Play" the game, just really annoy me while I play.

And she calls herself a gamer (at least that was the way she introduced herself to me) but her idea of a game is facebook Bejeweled or Wheel of Fortune.

Sorry mini thread derailment too. I disagree, my girlfriend and I went as Raving Rabbids and it was probably the most fun I've ever had. She was the only non slutty girl there though. Just to stay on topic, she also games. For us gaming is an activity like any other.

My girls play Angry Birds and other low production titles, like puzzle games and the like.

They have matching laptops with a 2.2GHz C2D and 9400m so their title selection is already limited, and their "smart" phones.

Unfortunately not really in real life, but in MMOs... WoW specifically, some of the most hardcore players I've met were girls. In WOTLK I was in a heroic 25 raiding guild and the guild master was a girl. In our main 25 man group 7 were girls. Plenty of other in game friends were over the years too, at least the ones I spoke too over ventrilo. Who knows otherwise.
 
I've seen this to be true. A lot of them are stay at home Mom's or wives. A lot of them have husbands who travel for work or are away in the military.
 
My girl had a real good time with Guild Wars. When she joined her guild mates on ventrillo I swear I heard the pitter/patter of nerd feet running to beat it.
 
Lmao my best friend 10 yrs ago would piss anyone off in this room in counter strike with an AWP. Infact one time we were at a Lan, a guy straight up stood up and said WHO THE FAQ is (Handle).. then my best friend being Tiny raises her hand and goes "me".... the guy went OOPS... said your awesome dude.. and then sat right back down.... LOLOL....

Everyone at that lan started laughing there asses off.... that was probably my most epic Lan session...

Now... i guess she phased out... but she still does play games once in a while...

I used to trade Soul Calibur II strat tips with Kayane back when she was twelve years old or so. She is now arguably the best fighting game gal in the world, with a lot of quality wins including getting 1st place by beating the French champion in one tourney. Here she is playing Lexia (similar to Xianghua) in the Finals of a recent Soul Calibur V tournament.

I believe the hardcore adult film actress Stoya is also famous for being a semi-intelligent gamer. For obvious reasons I am not linking to any photos of her.

There are also some pretty good female TF2ers out there, some of them quite attractive to boot. I know because I used to play on a particular clan's server and hang out at their forums.

P.S. And obviously WoW is brimming with female gamers, including the most famous of them, Felicia Day.

And if you want to count my gf, she could be considered a gamer. Just not online. She played Fallout New Vegas till like, 4:30 a.m. last night.

I remember in my Rift days there was a priest Greek girl that was online most of the day...and after getting in chat with her i discover she played a lot of games like WoW for example...a girl that loves MMORPGs....there is something every gamer wants 😛

Local girl. 24 I think, and she's a stay at home mom. Stays home, watches kid, plays video games. Don't know her personally, but we're 'friends' on facebook and talk gaming. I introduced to her to RIFT during the beta and she got hooked. She's a serious mmo player.
