I think she said as of E3 2011, June 9 that she had her trade skill at 385... not sure I don't play WoW...

You what? No, I asked if she wanted a GAME and she said yes so we played some games. I'm not really looking for a relationship to be honest and she has a b/f anyway. I think this is a bit of a problem for female gamers, 99% of their peers want only 1 thing from them, I just want to play some games 🙂

I was (mostly) joking taking up the air of the perma-virgin nerd. 😛 Although, Cataclysm (expansion #3) was out by E3 2011, which means the profession cap is 525. 375 was the cap in The Burning Crusade (expansion #1).

But seriously, You guys are just not looking in the right places. Admittedly there are more gaming guys than there are gaming girls, but they are out there. And there are a lot more than you all appear to believe.

go to E3 or Comicon or GenCon or Blizcon or DragonCon. There are women from all over that travel to see these conventions and participate in gaming. Some are a lot more hard core than some of the guys that go.

Um.... My Ex and I had lots of fun teaming up in Diablo. And we gamed together whenever we could. But we also went out and had vacations and trips and did stuff around the house. All the stuff that "Normal" couples do. We just gamed as well. And nothing got left un-done. Just because you enjoy video games, doesn't mean that you have to obsess to the point where you NEED someone else to pull you away from it.

And most healthy relationships are built upon common ground. If you like video games and she can/wants to do them with you, what is the problem? It takes a healthy relationship and a fun past-time and builds on both.

someone quoted you and i went back and read your post, and I get where you're coming from but honestly.......i want a soul mate, someone who gets me through and through, and she doesn't need to be perfect but she just needs to understand where i'm coming from and I think that's pretty rare, like I'll never find a women who'll get me....and even if I do, the chances of her being a 8,9 or 10 are so slim, it's like winning the lottery...
 
I have a friend who likes gaming. She's not hardcore, but she's been playing games (console only now that I think of it) since the original Nintendo. I think she's pretty damn cute too.

Back in Counter-Strike pre-source days, I frequently went to this huge LAN party which had upwards of 60-80 people at a time which lasted 3 days.

One time, a girl came to the LAN party and she wasn't particularly attractive, maybe a 4/10 but ZOMG, she got like 20 marriage proposals and tons of date offers and stuff over the course of those 3 days.

I'm like... WTF, you' all so desperate or never go out with any other girls? WTF... NERDS!

Well yes but there's also something to be said for wanting to be with someone who shares your main interests in life.
 
My 60 y/o mom games a lot lol. She plays WoW, minecraft and a couple other subscription based MMO's.

My Sis and niece play quite a bit too, but not as much as her.

My GF plays games. More into smaller style games though. Facebook junk, Sims 3, Plants vs zombies, and other types of what I would call "lite" gaming. She is definitely not into FPS or MMOs. She does play Fable, and I picked her up Fable 3 on my steam account for her to play so she doesn't mind RPGs. But she likes console style RPGs. She plays Kingdom hearts and such. I had to set up a controller pad for her to play fable 3 cause she couldn't stand using the mouse and keyboard.

I wouldn't call her a hard core gamer because she can't sit down for 8 hours and play a game straight through and want more. She gets bored playing a game after about an hour and has to do something else.

She does play for a few hours with me and wants to play more to a degree. I set up a desk for her to put her laptop next to my gaming computer. She'll play for a few hours, but get bored and have to do something else. But she doesn't wake up in the morning wishing to get back to the game as soon as possible to finish the quest she was working on.

Sorry for thread derailment but I swear every female halloween costume must meet 2 requirements.

1. Must look slutty
2. Must look like the costume theme... somewhat

LOL.

I say this because my wife is super hot and petite and she dressed up for halloween for the first time as Dorothy (slutty of course) and I wasn't so sure our family oriented neighborhood would appreciate that.

But anyways, we trolled around with our 2 kids and a bunch of family friends with their kids and I've never seen so much hate. Comments such as "Why don't the teens start their halloween when all the kids are asleep?" or "Which parent would let their kid go out dressed like that?!?"

One comment that got me to LAWL was "Girls should NOT be dressed like a grown woman, wow" And I started LOL, then I responded "That's my wife and those 2 over there are our kids, LOLOLOL"
