oh I forgot to mention upgradeware and powerleap are 2 different companies, I don't trust upgradeware. so I recommend powerleap.

I've used Upgradeware Slot-T several times and they work just fine. Powerleap is too expensive.

I bought a Powerleap adapter to keep my old trusty 440BX-based rig relevant. I've had a 1.4GHz Tualatin Celeron running in it for over 6 weeks with absolutely no problems. Installation took 30 minutes and everything worked on the initial powerup. I didn't even flash to the latest BIOS beforehand. The adapter and CPU set me back $120, which some may flinch at, but what the heck do I care? It works and my PC is noticably more usable. The 75% boost in clock speed and the doubling of L2 cache was just what the doctor ordered.

Head on over to www.compgeeks.com they have tualatin adaptors for $7-8

I JUST ordered on thurs a celeron 1300 ($33) and tualatin adaptor ($7) slapped on a heatsink, bumped FSB up to 133 on my asus p3v4x standard voltage. Booted up at a stable 1733

They have a standard $7 (FEDEX Ground) starting out shipping/handling rate so pile on more stuff to make it worth while, bonus of Fedex ground is sat delivery for free. I ordered on thurs and got a delivery today(sat).

FYI the tualatin adaptor they have doesnt have voltage adjustments... so make sure you can change it in bios unless you like running hot.
