Anyone know a program that reads ithmb files?

I've tried googling, but can't find anything for windows. Is there a way to get the image out of a ithmb file?

If not, then does anyone know more about ithumb files? Maybe I can write a program that extracts the image, but I wonder why nobody's done that before...

I think that program requires the iPod to be connected. I need something that doesn't require the iPod to be connected.

Took me a LONG time to get it figured out, after cruising lots of forums i found that open-file ( http://www.open-file.com/file-extension-ithmb.htm ) worked best for opening them on a PC, for mac i have no idea.. though it should be able to be done..

1) There are 7 comments on the page. And _http://www.open- file.com/file-extension-mp3.htm contains the same comments.
2) Windows has no any build-in shell extension which allows user to open or convert ithmb files. Ithmb files are created when you sync your iDevice with iTunes.

So it looks like fake program with spyware or malware inside. Be careful!
