I can't figure how to do it in photoshop? Whats the command I don't see compression setting in the batch menu.

Irfanview. It's about 1 meg and has an incredibly easy to use batch convert feature. Quintessential windows program.

i usually create a droplet in which i resize the pictures and adjust the quality for web-posting(this reduces size by a LOT in PS.6)
