anyone know a lot about PA sound systems for venues?

i need some advice on setting up sound systems for large rooms with 200-500 heads. i'm thinking of getting two pairs of loudspeakers and a pair of subwoofer so i can provide two seperate room for entertainment or one big room when neccessary... anyone have any recommonendations for loudspeakers, amplifiers, hardware racks, etc...? the equipments should be mobile transportable in a truck or suv. my budget is under $5000. links to specific equipments would be nice also 🙂 thanks!
