Anyone know a lot about Louis Vuitton?

I bought a garment bag at a garage sale. Woman told me that it was the real deal, she bought it at the Louis Vuitton store in NYC. Now I believe it's suppoused to have a serial # somewhere? Anyone know if garment bags do, and where it could be found?

Or any other way to makes sure it's 100% authentic

whoa....they sell LV stuff at your garage sales? it's like records and old books around here, and I'm in a pretty well off city. Sorry, i can't help you out, but I'm sure someone can....if not, I'll ask a friend with an LV purse tomorrow and see if she knows.

I remember browsing their store on the Champs Elysses.........whoa. ^_^

I go every saturday to garage sales, and lets just say I haven't gotten a deal like this in years.

100% Fake. just look at the badge , if you were the QC guy at LV, would you let it pass looking like that? The suit bag looks too plastic look rather than leather.

Hey, what a great find! Louis Vuitton is usually NOT your avg. yard sale find. I wanted to get a cute LV clutch purse but it was $1500 at Neiman Marcus, anyhow- have you tried going to www.Vuitton.com?
