do you know where the local Indian grocery store is? they have some great deals on pistachios (and cashews, etc) usually for some reason. You can buy a 5 lbs bag for the same price of a little package at the regular grocery store. Might be worth a look...

Sam's Club has them cheap if there's one near you ... actually, any warehouse club.

Check if your town has a place that sells bulk stuff. We have one here called Bulk Barn, it's awesome in there. Basically all these bins and you just scoop what you want into a bag. They have tons of stuff from nuts to candy, even chocolate bar chunks like kit kat and stuff. I go in there some times to get chocolate covered almonds and other stuff. It's easy to spend over 100 bucks in there.

You can use the provided scoops, or use an alternator chassis so you can confirm bulk status. You need to completely fill it so that it's considered bulk. It also has to be at least 10 pounds.
