Anyone just recently get Verizon DSL?

Did you get your username and password through the account activation using the setup CD? 2 years ago I got Verizon DSL and they sent it in the mail but they seem to be doing things differently now. The stupid software keeps saying my zipcode doesn't match my phone #. Damn Verizon. Can't even contact their technical support because "our line is overloaded with people waiting." Gee I wonder why.

yeah, you have to install the software and it will allow you to make your username and password.

That's BS. I'd never install any ISP's software to use their service.
BTW I have verizon DSL too

well u need the username and pw to get onto your emails and etc. they used to pack it in with the equipment but i guess they changed it. i think it's not working for me cuz my technical starting date is this thursday according to billing.
