Just curious. I put in a order from outpost.com for a Visiontek Xtasy 9500 Pro. I already own a FIC 9700 Pro and love it. This card will be for the gaming machine oddly enough, we'll let everyone know how it comes out. Should be just like any other 9500 Pro I would imagine, but who knows.

they have had the funniest things recently on their website. I while back they had some flash anim about the g4 with a vacum in the background. They really hate Nvidia now, and aren't afraid for everyone in the world to know they do.

Which is funny, because it's Visiontek's business practices that caused them to flop and restructure. The dropped the ball with the GF4 launch. They were supposed to be first to market with cards, but ended up getting beat to the retail shelves by companies such as PNY. That being said, my Visiontek GF4 Ti4400 works fine for me.

I dunno. Their ads just seem lame to me. Like some computer geek pocket protector types trying to make believe they're from the 'hood, and being generally insulting at the same time.

In fact, their ads are enough for me to avoid Visiontek cards altogether. (And I buy almost exclusively ATI cards now too.)

Yea, but at least there box art is pretty cool, and there website is pretty slick. I found humor in their ad at the time, but it really isnt appropiate I guess. Hopefully this product performs as good as there old stuff

In business, I find that it is a good practice to NEVER burn bridges. Because who knows, Visiontek may have to go groveling back to Nvidia someday, and there "vacuum cleaner anim" is not going to help them when the time comes.

Everybody loves ATi, so for the near future it won't matter :)
I wish I had the $$$ for an ATi card rather than this nVidia crap I use at the moment.
We can all dream :(
