not sure if this is even the right forum to ask in, but I'm trying to get some idea for what I'd need to start.
I'm not trying to do anything too crazy -- we rent, so we're not going to be replacing light switches or installing a security system -- but I'd love to be able to control some lights with our cellphones (eg: turn the hallway light on as we're pulling into the driveway, not have to get out of bed at 12 am when I realize that my BF left the living room lights on, etc) and being able to remotely turn on/off the Christmas lights outside would be amazing.
