Not since I sold my swapped Accord almost 9 years ago. I have a CR-Z but it has zero JDM parts on it :p

I have a EG8 Civic sedan all stock except the JDM DB15B swap. My uncle has a 2 door Integra RS with a Type R clone.

I usually don't see the point of all these JDM swaps, my bike makes more hp than the motor you're putting in. That being said, a real type-R integra would be a fun track car.

LOL, a bike is lighter. I want to turbo my civic, but California smog is in the way and I don't want to do those underground smog check

Just get an older car and its even easier. The guy I sold my Accord to went to the trouble of getting the car legalized. I swapped everything correctly anyway so it was easy for him to get the sticker.

And yes Halik, I do agree to a point. But I figure the $2k I spend for an additional 75hp and 40ft-lbs of torque was pretty cheap given the cost of other power-adder alternatives that aren't N2O :p

EDIT: Can't believe I still found this pic

I've thought about this for my 2005 Civic but the D17A1s don't turbo very well. Probably not worth the expense, especially with an auto gearbox.

Its only JDM if you have purple anodized tow hooks & exhaust that sounds like a chainsaw raping a weed eater -

i gave my civic to my daughter. she wants to JDM the hell out of it. when she blew the engine, i found a stock d16y7 (non v-tec, yo) for it. however, i think when she gets out of college she will move on to bigger and better cars, so im already building a ZC motor that will swap in and be ready to turbo. the engine is actually a project with my son, he is a true gearhead. he is doing the majority of the work, and soaking up all the info i can teach him about engines and cars. if she does give up my civic, ill have to repaint it. she has me painting it black with neon pink accents.

the remark about the purple anodized tow hook cracks me up, my daughters boyfriend just inherited a sweet infiniti and the first thing he put on it was that purple tow hook. well, new motor mounts and then the hook.

i am really out of touch with the power of bikes now, how many are over 175 HP? most of the good swaps for a civic can get you to that without much extra bolt ons or tuning.

People really should get banned from the internet for posting PNG's.

Also why did you make a 'transparent hood' picture of a dirty stock engine?

It's supposed to be 'hey my car looks unassuming but have a peek at what's underneath my hood.' Like this guy:

It's not 'hey, this looks like a regular Honda Civic, but look! ...yeah it's a regular Honda Civic.'
