Anyone in the bay area....

Want to go play some no limit holdem at a casino around the area. Maybe have a beer, hang out with someone with the same type of (nerdy) interests?

San Fransisco.

I dont just want to play poker, but i want to do somthing other than smoke weed at my friends apartments.

EDIT:
I live in an afluent town, everyone has cash, just not enugh brains.
I dont have many friends i consider nearly as smart as i am. Stuck up? Yes, but thats only because i actively choose to learn about thing i dont have to to make myself better.

I lived in main for a few years of boarding school, i lived in bath. Most beutifull state ive ever been to, and ive been cross country on a grey hound. Where do you live now?

WARNING:
San Fransisco, though not a crazy as LA (which in itself is another planet), is still a crazy place. If you live in maine, be prepaired to expirience culture shock. Maine is like going back in time when coming from san fransisco. Also, people are much more real on the east coast. I dont know why this is, but stuff is just wacked out over here.

On the east coast you get in a fight with a friend, one guy gets his ass kicked, then its over.
Same thing happens over here, some one ends up hurt.
Ive seen a friend of mine grind another guy i knows face in the pavement, over driving drunk.

Wait, come to think of it i would not live anywhere else (though i NEED to get out of danville).

Honestly, im trying to meet people that can have an inteligent conversation about world events, not just what happened at work.

What's that gonna accomplish?

I live in Campbell man, if you want to play some frisbee, smoke a spliff, and see how the beverly hillbillys live... well when i get back in august we can hang out

My new neighbors are pretty interesting folks, well read, one of them works for the local Dem in our area, the other is the devil's advocate... always interesting topics, that and dominos, and of course... spliffs. Are you sure its the pot you're tired of and not your friends? 😛 /que Harold and Kumar Scene - Kumar and the bag o'weed... classic, btw I'm Kumar... seriously.

edit: beers are always good too, texas hold'em... well i can introduce you to some Koreans who play, pretty low buy in fun times stuff. sometimes $20 buy in, 13 or so people, sometimes $.25 chips... depends on the mood. And of course, can lock into the wifi and get some video game time in. Only downside, the 'rents are reclaiming their space... puts a damper on what was once Squatters Paradise
