Within the next year, I would like to buy a condo/unit/etc. in or around South Beach (20 mile radius). Basically I would be looking for a studio (obviously with some semblance of a kitchen) or a cabana (are cabana's habitable for like a week at a time, how big are they usually?). Really I wouldn't need anything much bigger than 400 sqft. A place that I can sleep when I go down there a few times a year, acting as a second home.

I know the RE market has boomed around there, but basically, the closest to 10th and A1A as possible, in a decent enough area. . . How has RE been in that area over the past 12 months or so?

What are my price ranges. Would I be able to find anything in the ~125k range?

sorry so vauge.!

I already did that. There are some nice places that are close, but I have no idea how the surrounding areas are.
