I still have a flight tomorrow. I still need to get from Boston to New York. I still haven't been able to get in touch with my GF in NY.

Has anyone been able to call out from a cell phone in NY yet?
 
NYC cell phones have been fine for the last 24 hours. Even my crappy AT&T GSM is working again.
 
yep its fine now... got power back 6:30pm yesterday...

must have been the last ones to get power back in Brooklyn damn it!
 
Verizon, Voicestream seems to be good to go on the NYC area.

If she has a landline you can call now. It should be working since yesterday.

 
Wow, I didn't even realize that there's still cell phone problems. I haven't had a problem since about 9 PM Thursday (when my phone died...)
 
T-mobile is working fine.

Does your g/f have voicemail w/ Cingular? Probably sounds like a dumb question but my friend has Cingular and his plan came with no voice mail so if his phone is off, I get the message you are getting.

Are you still having troubles getting from Boston to NY and vice versa?
 
There are still some residual problems with everything in NYC. Maybe the Cingular->T-mobile hookup is foobar?
