ugh so my relatives and family wants to go to this stupid place, and I get dragged along.


I hate hate gambling period. i don't care what others think. I hate it.
but don't get me wrong, I enjoy like very small gambling w/ friends and such. But gambling to a point where you lose upwards to 100 bucks is stupid.

anyways that said.

is there anything else to do there besides gambling and ..uhh what do you call it..that waterbike thing where u go in one of those watercraft things and ride around the river..yeah that..

Jet skiing or boating. Laughlin sits on a river so any water based activities.

If you have the transportation, you are only 30 minutes from the Hoover Dam. Great way to spend a half day or more.
4-5 hours from South Rim of Grand Canyon.

If you have to stay in Laughlin, utilize the river.

Laughlin is about the most god awful place to go this time of year, yeah there is a river but its 120 degrees out...which makes being outsie almost unbearable, i dont care how much water is around, and that also makes it humid and smells nasty, the water is cold but i dont think it makes up for how bad the place is. Casino wise they have nothing there really that great. Its all gambling and no shows or much of anything.
The only reason i would ever go there was for family as well though...they seem to like it better than vegas (not as croweded) but theres a great reason for that. Now the plus side is that your within driving distance of some of the greeatest sites in AZ suchas havasupi alls and the grand canyon and hoover dam, so get away when/if you can! Otherwise if ur not going to be able to i say come down with an "illness" right before leaving
