Are there quests and stuff to do?

I just started so I am on n00b island and can't find anything to do besides stand in a spot and hack lizard men to death.

Seems pretty boring.. the area the game is played on is huge but its all just empty space..

Path finding sucks too... the guy dosent even know to walk around a tree.. just walks up to it and stops in his tracks.

I played it for a couple months back at release. It's pretty retarded. If you want to level with any speed whatsoever (besides 1-5), you MUST find a group and go hack things up with them. Spam "lvl 5 crusader (or whatever class you are) lfg" in the information window long enough and someone should message you to join one.

No quests. Hack monsters for a few days, join a guild, and then hack monsters until you're strong enough to hack other players.

yeah, i play a bunch.. pretty addictive once you get some lvls..

Yeah IMO the game sucked.
I played from release till about Aug.

All you do is level & level....then when you get big enough you get some so so PvP in.
I found the seige warfare sucked.
Although i did have fun for a while raiding farming spots with a few friends. I just found the PvP was not dynamic enough & fast enough moving.

Although old & I no longer play AC1 had the best PvP in a MMORPG
