I have a record I'd like ripped at a higher quality but don't really have any of hte necessary equipment (players or high end sound car). Anyone in know somewhere in Dallas I can have it done, or is someone willing to hook me up? It's just a single record (There Goes the Neighborhood from Joe Walsh)

Considering the time it takes me to digitally transfer, edit, clean up noise, and properly tag the files I would say if you can buy the CD then you should do so. I only do very rare albums that are not available on CD because it takes me several hours per record which means I am working for about $4/hour if I were to choose not to buy the CD instead.

Yeah, I understand. I was just checking the viability of it. It's my dad's favorite record and I took it from the collection, had it signed for him and was going to rip it digitally for fathers day, but I may just buy the cd.
