ANYONE IN CHICAGO AREA? OMG!!! ROAD SUCKED!!!!!! ARGGG!!! :(

:|

usually it takes me 30 minutes to geto work...

seeing that the highway was totally tied up, took the local way...
and just my luck there was ICE on the road all the WAY!! everyone was crawling at 10mph because you would spin out so easily...

then up ahead i see a small hill.. with incline about 25' .... i had a bad feeling about it...

and BAM! about half way up.. my car (98' dodge van) started to spin tires and the damn thing wouldnt move forward!!!!

ARGGGGG!!! took me 30 minutes to go over the hill..
i had to use the gravel on the side to actually get any kind of traction...

OMG.... that really stressed me out.. im already ready to go home... damn i should have used my sick day today...

took me 3 times the normal time to get to work today..

ARGGGGG!!!!!

im from ohio but i was there yesterday and it was a perfect sunny day, hard to believe there was so much ice!

Commuting sucks, especially when the area is subject to snow and ice. I had a job that was 15-20 minutes away but that changed to 45-70 minutes if there was any snow. That's time in my life that I will never get back. I live less than 2 miles from work now, and I don't ever want to give that up.
