Anyone in Boston Area with a Alpha 8045 heat sink

I am grasping straws at this point. Is there anyone in the Boston, MA (Actually I live closer to Worcester) that has the Alpha 8045 and might be willing to let me see if it will fit on my motherboard?
I would really rather not eat the $40 it will cost me for the heatsink shipped, but I think if it fits that this would be the best solution to my noise vs need for cooling issue.

why don't you check here if your mobo is on the list....or post what mobo you have and see if someone with the same board has the now popular Alpha...might be better than grasping at straws...

I have already done both. My motherboard is not on the list and nobody ever responded to if they have tried it with my motherboard.

i go to umass and live off campus, i wont step in a frat house. They are pieces of sh*t that are falling down. One burned down a few weeks go. I say burn them all down with the f*cking frat losers inside.

Went to a Frat party at Umass in 1985. They kicked all the guys that were not frat brothers out at 1am.
Of course they kept all the girls. I don't drink beer, but if I did it was only $5 for all the beer you could drink.

Umass was much wilder back in the early 80's. Then they had a few rapes and some kids died.
When I was there every Thursday-Saturday night a cop sat at the entrance to every dorm and checked
ID's if you had alchohol and were under 21 they arrested you on the spot.
One of the dorms I used to hang out at had everybody on one floor kicked out of school for being busted
too many times. One time one room was busted with over 100 5ths and over 300 cans of beer.

Actually Umass can be a very good school if you study.

It just shipped today. It went Priority mail so I should get it by Wed or Thur.
Lets hope so because I go away for three weeks Sunday. To Sunny Florida for
Christmas. Yeah I know 80 degrees on Christmas day isn't a very New England thing,
but at least I get to go to a theme park or two.
I go almost every year now. I miss my computer the most. No computer at my parents and
no internet. Crap now I don't want to go.
