Anyone here work "split shifts" at work?

I've done them before, but I hated it because it consumed my entire day. This is only me serving tables though, so ~$10 an hour just doesn't seem worth it.
 
No way. You've got no time in between to do anything. Plus the extra time wasted prepping to go to/from work. Knowing I have to go in once is bad enough, nevermind twice in a single friggin day. To hell with it.
 
done it, hated it.

it was nice to have a break, and the two 4-hour shifts went pretty quickly, but the break was worthless. I'd rather have more time to sleep in the morning or more time to relax after work.
