I'm not "in charge", boss has the final decision. I just send her the useful or semi-useful applicants.

Depends on the job I guess. The only experience I have is for aspiring technicians.
Ya gotta show me you can actually do something not useless A+, etc. etc. certs.
Experience is the key.

I'm in the same sorta position, not the boss, but interview people and make decision of who we think we should hire

it really does depend on job, for a high end tech job a CC isnt gunna cut it. Really though the key to get past CC being a hinderance is to focus your resume on other things like managerial experience, team experience, etc. LEt it be known your getting education but your true experience is "real life"
