I was invited to a second interview from Wells Fargo to work in a 24 or 36 month auditing program but I'm not sure its for me. What are your experiences as an auditor? What is a normal day like for you? Also if you don't mind, please post a general range of your salary and the number of years working.

Thanks

what kind of auditing?

i was an IT auditor for one of the big 5 accounting firms, and im studying for my CISA designation (certified info sys auditor)

it can be fun and boring, usually more boring than fun... but it pays well.. high figures, not quite 6 when i was with teh big 5 as a senior associate

im in japan now doing the same similar stuff and doubled my salary

I would be in Internal Auditing
So I take it you enjoy the work then. That's good. Do you travel often?
And which Big 5 firm? My sister worked as a Global IT Systems Analyst for 3 years at PWC but she said the work was much too monotonous for her.

what kind of degree do you need?

I believe it is generally recommended to have a business/economics degree for auditing but an accounting degree would be a plus.
