Thinking of investing in wireless speakers but I'm curious about the performance. Anyone here own a pair? Are you happy with them?

I installed a set of Logitech in my buddy's shop and he loves them. They sound great and there is no interference. I do not remember the model number but it is the expensive set that usually runs about $500 retail and about $350 online. I would recommend them.

Your speakers are going to have to be powered somehow. This often means they have built-in amps that you'll have to plug in, so instead of speaker wire running to each speaker, you'll have a big power cord running from each speaker to an outlet. If you can get wire going to the speaker, that's probably your best bet unless you have a physical layout where that's a lot harder to do than plugging each speaker into an outlet.

EDIT: and no, I dont' have any :p

I have installed several of the Radio Shack ones.
They work fine for 95% of the general public.
As a surround or an extension background speaker I think they are fine. Saves cussing and painting and fixing sheetrock or tunneling through floors or ANYTHING other than plug and play.
