Anyone here wear or wore Invisalign?

I need to get braces, but i remember most of my friends that have had em complain about it constantly, and i'm not too fond of them myself. so i went and checked out Invisalign, the clear mouth piece looking thing that straightens out your teeth.

I went in for my free consultation today, and was pretty hyped about getting it until i got the estimate for the damned thing. i was thinking maybe a couple grand, few at the most, but they quoted me $5630.. i mean i'm all for straight teeth and all, but jeebus, that's expensive! at least the consultation was free.. woo........ blah....

I was wondering if any other OTers have gotten em, or know any one that has em, and how much they might have paid. I was told that braces also costs quite a bit, actually the doc's office said they were about the same price.. but since they are pushing for the Invisalign, i'm sure their opinion could be a bit skewed..

Yep, it normally hangs to the left, but the Invisalign brace keeps it pointing straight up, all the time. Don't know how I lived w/o it.

i had braces for about 5 or so years and if i had a chance i would get the invisalign ones. the regular ones blow but the other ones prolly would to but at least they one be as noticeable.
