i'm thinking of getting these
but ive never tried on asics before.

i only wear nike sneakers and merrel mocks and i'm a size 10.5-11 in those. teva sandals size ~10.
how do the sizes for asics compare should i go w/ 10.5?

thanks

my brother played volleyball and he used pairs of new balance instead asics but of course, with ankle braces.

I have Asics Typhoons and they're a size 12 along with my Reebok and Puma sneakers. I wouldn't consider sandal sizes into shoe buying. I'd personally go with the bigger size.

i know they don't but most vball players tend to play with NB running shoes and play vball with ankle braces.

also ankle injuries are the most risk injury in vball. consider yourself a risk.

i picked up vball in high school but i committed to focus on basketball instead.

my brother also picked up vball in his high school and went to become a standout. he improved a lot.

if you want to increase your vertical leap, i might suggest you to jump on sand. i know it's hard but jump as much as you can. i don't play beach vball but it'll help. a lot of vball players do that.

i increased my vertical leap by jumping rope, working on my legs using leg press (over 500 pounds) and a lot of jumpings such as jumping with both feet on the bleachers from bottom to top.

a great sport to start with.

the last time i really played competitively was back in high school. i just wanted to get a pair to play in some recreational leagues and maybe for all around indoor training/exercise.
i always wanted to increase my vert since i'm a shorter guy. most buddies would do plyometric exercises using jumpsoles and our coach made us run stairs and do block jumps going up the steps.

theres a 30% off code for eastbay right now. look at FW or hotdeals

:thumbsup:thx :) are there any stores?

eastbay is online only, but it, champs, and footlocker are owned by the same company. usually they have printables that can be used at champs/footlocker as well, but this specific code is only good online. i haven't tried using the code at the champs or footlocker sites, since eastbay doesnt charge tax except in WI.
