I might be getting one and curious to know peoples thoughts. I will be looking at the 120W and up series. How does Crate compare as there is a great sale at muscians friend on these. Thanks

Never used one. My Marshall combo and my Vox are all I need at the moment.

I contribute nothing to this thread. :(

I have the Line 6 Spider III 30w for home use. These things are really loud (in a good way) and the options/extras are great. I would take it over the Crate models.

Line 6 Spider amps have a great reputation and are very versitile. Their modelling technology is very good, but some people say they sound a bit "cold". I'll recommend them, but you may want to try it out before plopping down the cash.

I have the same amp. Great sound and effects. Packs quite a punch for such a mid-sized amp too.

I'd take one over a Crate, but I'd rather get a Marshall, Fender, or Vox. In my experience all that fx stuff isn't really that good, you'd be much better off spending the money on some good pedals.

What guitar are you using?

I have an SG Epiphone 400 custom, Jackson RR5 and Jackson Kelley Performer...I may go as high as $400...I saw the amp at Guitar center for this price ( 120W version)
