If so if yours is a hummin what settings,program and settings or init string do you use? Because my modem aint running so great in UT and other online games.

you sure it's the modem and not your phone line? I have the modem and so does a friend, he can play just fine while i'm strugglin' w/ 400-500 pings... my phone lines are just too old.
 
maybe what do you connect at?

On a decent server I keep 300 and under ping. My main problem is connection failed BS.
