anyone here uses the GA-945P-S3 with C2d?

I'm planning my next build so looking into some mb seems the 945P is adequte feature wise compare to its big bro 965P-S3/DS3. But I do need to OC a bit and want to know if it has any problems I should be aware of. Thanks!

I don't have this board but based on its big brothers, I would have to say that you should be able to OC a bit, certainly not as much as with the P965 chipset. So don't expect any massive OC on that board but you should be pretty stable with a mild-decent OC given that Gigabyte makes good quality motherboards right across the range, budget-enthusiast.

945 chipset boards have always been lacking in the OC department, so I doubt that one is any better.

ummm, thanks for the feedbacks. If it can't OC I might just dish out that extra money for a 965P.

290-300 Mhz is about all those 945 boards have ever been able to do, unfortunately.
