Anyone here used to play Starcraft?

Maybe you could do me a favor. I have two copies of it (mine and my girlfriend's), but she can't find her CD with the serial number on the back. We tried playing through cloning, but we keep getting network errors - even in IPX. Perhaps, somebody may have a solution for me, because my girlfriend really has been taunting me for a while now.

Ok, It's been a while since I played Starcraft over a network, but I'll give this a shot. What kind of network errors are you getting? I remember when I used to play it on my little network I'd have to set ipx/spx on both pc's to be 802.3 and not auto (or whatever the default setting was) or else the 2 games wouldn't see each other. Is this what is happening to you?

I've used the CD key of 1234567890123, or however many numbers it is . It's worked perfectly for me, though I don't know the effect in online gaming.

we'd prefer to play online in, say, a 2v2 or something.

anywho, can anyone help me?
